Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 5.11.2017 in connection with Excise Case No. 491 of 2017 for the offence under sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for more than seven months.
