He is looking for settlement of his rightful dues including post retiral benefits.
The writ application was filed in the year 2014 but till date no counter affidavit has been filed nor is there any presence on behalf of Zila Parishad to assist the Court.
Counter affidavit on behalf of the State has been filed under the signature of Deputy Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department which indicates that funds are being released in favour of such Zila
Patna High Court CWJC No.12844 of 2014 dt.05-05-2016 2/2 Parishads and it is the responsibility of the concerned Zila Parishad to settle the claim and dues of its employees or erstwhile employees. Taking the above position in consideration, the Court disposes of the writ application with a direction upon the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, East Champaran at Motihari that the claim of the petitioner will be settled within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of this order. Whatever is disputed will be made known to the petitioner within the same time frame.
