ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 05-07-2018 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 21.06.2016 in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No.87 of 2016, registered under Sections 399, 402 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely on the basis of suspicious by the police when he was going for some personal business purposes. It is further submitted that after his arrest, the petitioner was made self-confessional statement and it is well settled that such statement made before the police has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in jail since past two years.

No.33181 of 2018 (3) dt.05-07-2018 2/2 In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, let the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui, in connection with Laxmipur P.S.
