Agrawal, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Md. Musowir, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and learned counsel for the informant.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Abadpur PS Case No.206 of 2022 dated 03.12.2022, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 304-B, 120-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the informant's daughter was married with one Md. Naushad, who had gone to Delhi to earn his livelihood but he stopped taking care of his family. He called his wife to Delhi but she did not go
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16647 of 2023(3) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 to Delhi. She was threatened by her husband. The informant's daughter was working as labourer. The informant on the date of occurrence came to know that his daughter has died in the inlaw's house.
4. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR. He is not related to the family of the in-laws of the deceased in any way. He is a covillager and only on suspicion he has been made accused. Nothing has been alleged him in the FIR. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 06.12.2022 having clean antecedents.
5. Learned APP as well as learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the CJM, Katihar, in Abadpur PS Case No.206 of 2022.
