The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and 47a of the Excise Act. It is alleged that from the hutment of the petitioner 55 litres of Mahua liquor were recovered.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no concern with the hutment. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The aforesaid facts constitute ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20916 of 2016 (3) dt.08-08-2016 2/2 regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No.134/2016, pending before the learned CJM, Gaya. With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
