This is an application for bail in connection with Kasim Bazar P.S. Case No. 77 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 341, 323, 120B, 324 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of causing farsa injury to the informant and due to which he sustained grievous injury on his head.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he and informant are neighbours and scuffle took place between them and petitioner has no intention to kill him and he is in custody for five months.

Heard learned APP also.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46538 of 2017 (2) dt.20-09-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of allegation of causing grievous injuries on the vital part of informant, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, since petitioner is in jail for the last five months, learned court below is directed to expedite process of commitment of the case and once case has been committed, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of seven months on day to day basis.
