JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-05-2016 Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 47(a) of the Excise Act.

From the premises of the petitioner as well as from the premises of co-accused Ashok Rai 78,600 litres of country made liquor, beer and foreign liquor were recovered. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that recovery is from the joint family house. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Considering the nature of recovery, it is a case for consideration of prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with C2A No. 43 of 2015, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial
