Petitioner seeks bail in Nawanagar (Sonverasa) P.S. Case No.198 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner has clean antecedents. He has surrendered on 16.02.2019. There is no recovery of illicit liquor from his possession. In the written report, it is alleged that police found one truck parked in front of house of Surendra Singh with huge quantity of foreign liquor as mentioned in the written report. The police learnt name of this petitioner and other accused persons, who are involved in sale of illicit liquor, from the local

Counsel for the petitioner submits that besides suspicion there is no allegation of any specific overt act against the petitioner.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ADJ II cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Buxar, in connection with Nawanagar (Sonverasa) P.S.
