The petitioner is aggrieved by rejection of his nomination. Counsel for the respondents inform that the matter has been rendered infructuous by holding of the election on 10.5.2016. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. The petitioner, however, if so advised, would be at liberty to raise the issue of cancellation of nomination before the forum prescribed under the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 and the Election Rules framed thereunder.
