2. The present Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(i) for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for direction respondents pay the admitted differences due bills to he petitioner, which is worth of Rs. 5,47,403/- as the petitioner submitted bills amounting to Rs.

23,36,054/- out of them Rs. 17,17,107/- has been paid the petitioner but differences amount has not been paid to

(ii) For further issue direction to the respondents for considering application dated 12.08.2023 and 02.02.2024 for payment of the differences due amount Rs. 5,47,403/- whenever petitioner submitted bill Nos. 387/202223, 388/2022-23, 436/2022-23, 437/2022-23 worth of Rs. 23,36,054/- out of them Rs. 17,17,160/- hence requested to the Respondents to pay the differences amount, which is still pending for due consideration.

(iii) For further issue direction to respondent pay the admitted differences due amount worth of Rs.

5,47,403/- along with the interest 11% to till date of full and final payment."

Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already given a representation to the Respondent No. 3, the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi, District-Sitamarhi ventilating his grievance. The present writ petition is disposed of. Respondent No. 3 is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.

4. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be put on notice and given an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. Any

Patna High Court CWJC No.4355 of 2024(2) dt.31-07-2024 3/3 order passed shall be communicated to the party. In case, the authority comes to the conclusion that the claim of the petitioner is genuine, necessary arrangements for making the payments shall be made.

5. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
