Heard the parties.
The two petitioners are aggrieved by the order dated 21.3.2016 passed by the Block Development Officer, Sadar Chapra -cum- Election Officer whereby their respective nominations to the post of Mukhiya, Gram Panchayat, East Telpa has been rejected.
Learned counsel for the State and the State Election Commission informs that the election to the post has already taken place on 10.5.2016.
In the circumstances so discussed, this writ petition is
Patna High Court CWJC No.7934 of 2016 (3) dt.11-05-2016 2/2 disposed of leaving it open for the petitioners to question their respective order of rejection of nomination by way of an election dispute, if so advised, before the forum so provided under the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 and the rules framed thereunder.
