The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Siwan Mufasil P.S. Case No. 171 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(A) and 38(1) of Bihar Excise & Prohibition Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 139.40 liters of illicit liquor from the possession of the co-accused person namely Dhananjay Yadav.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither any recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner nor the petitioner has got anything to do with the illicit liquor. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 07.04.2018.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32467 of 2018 (2) dt.30-05-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge- IInd, Siwan in connection with Siwan Mufasil P.S. Case No. 171 of 2018.
