JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-10-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "That this application is being filed for issuance of writ in nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent No-1 to extend the work of constructing of Drainage which has already ended at the entrance of house of the petitioners, resulting in acute problem in functioning of smooth life of the petitioners as well as his family members as entire drainage water of the village is logging in front of his house."

The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted

Patna High Court CWJC No.6540 of 2020(2) dt.18-10-2022 2/2 that the drainage has been constructed upto a point which is situated in front of the house of the petitioners, resulting in water logging in front of the house of the petitioners. In such view of the matter, it is submitted that in case the drainage is extended beyond the house of the petitioners, the grievance of the petitioners would stand redressed and they would live in a hygienic condition. Thus the Ld. Counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate, Arwal, however seeks a direction upon him to redress the grievance of the petitioners.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate, Arwal, by filing appropriate representation within a period of four weeks from today, which shall be considered in accordance with law and decision thereon shall be taken within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
