JUSTICE MUNGESHWAR SAHOO ORAL ORDER 21-01-2015 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, namely, Abhilakh Ram, and the learned A.P.P. on behalf of the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bettiah P.S. Case No. Case No.650 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) I.P.C.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the informant. According to the allegation, there was marpit only. However, the police has added 498(A) I.P.C. From perusal of the F.I.R., it appears that the informant has alleged that the accused persons always assault her after the death of her husband and they always ask her to leave the in law's house.

No.31516 of 2014 (2) dt.21-01-2015 2 / 2 Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the petitioner is the father in law of the informant, I direct the petitioner, in the event of his arrest / surrender within one month from today to the Court concerned, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.5,000/- (five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the C.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran in connection Bettiah Mufassil P.S. case No.650 of 2013 subject to condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
