The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the accused persons entered the truck of the informant, assaulted him and snatched Rs. 2,000/- from his pocket as also a mobile phone. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown. From perusal of the order of the learned Court below it would transpire that the name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation in the statement of co-accused Guddu Das who has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 10.11.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26672 of 2021(2) dt.29-11-2021 2/2 28361 of 2020. The petitioner is in custody since 21.5.2020 and charge sheet has been submitted in the case.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, grant of bail to co-accused Guddu Kumar and the petitioner having remained in custody for 1 year 6 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kotwali (Barari) P.S. Case no. 958 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M-XIV, Bhagalpur.
