The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
It is alleged that from the house of one Chakradhar Prasad Singh, 157 bags of rice and 29 bags of wheat were recovered, which was supplied to the petitioner being a P.D.S. dealer.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that due to paucity of storage space the petitioner took the house of Chakradhar Prasad Singh on rent and intimation to that effect was given to the authority. Moreover, the P.D.S. license of the petitioner has already been cancelled.

No.24823 of 2015 (2) dt.08-07-2015 Considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady, let the above named petitioner be released on bail in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Naugachia, Bhagalpur in connection with Bihpur P.S.
