The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 110 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 640 liters of foreign liquor from the maize field of co-accused Lalbabu Rai. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nether any recovery has been made from conscious possession of the petitioner nor the field from where the recovery has been made belongs to the petitioner. It is further submitted the petitioner has a clean antecedent and languishing in custody since 05.05.2018.
