The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 307 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition of Liquor and Excise Act, 2016.
The allegation is regarding recovery of 8.25 liters of illicit liquor from the petitioner.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact no recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 19.04.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32041 of 2018 (2) dt.24-05-2018 2/2 furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Special Court (Excise) Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No.307 of 2018 pending before as Excise Case No.407 of 2018.
