1. Heard the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled for personal promotion which has not been granted to him, while persons junior to him have already been granted promotion solely on the ground that the petitioner appeared in the Intermediate Examination in the same year which he passed the training. It is stated that the petitioner had appeared as a private candidate.

3. The issue relating to promotion shall be examined by the concerned District Appellate Authority/State Appellate Authority in terms of the Rules, 2020.

4. Granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the District Appellate Authority/ State Appellate Authority, this writ petition is dismissed.
