The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Narpatganj P.S. Case No. 356 of 2020 for the offences under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation in the FIR is that the petitioner, husband of the deceased had quarrel with the lady as has been explained by the deceased's daughter. Subsequently, next day the informant came to know that his sister is no more and his brother-in-law has fled away from the place.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16923 of 2022(2) dt.18-07-2022 2/2 trial has started and two witness have already been examined. Taking into account the fact that the death has occurred in the house of the petitioner, who being her husband failed to protect the lady, this Court is not inclined to grant him the privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected. The trial Court is hereby directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same expeditiously.
