The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 249/2017 dated 06.06.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant was divested of his personal belongings including his mobile telephone and Rs. 1,23,000/-. The petitioner has not been named in the F.I.R.; but in the further statement, the informant has stated that he was told by someone that the petitioner was one of the miscreants. A mobile telephone has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Taking into account the fact that the petitioner does not bear any criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 09.06.2017, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him. The petitioner above named is directed to be released
