1. The petitioner has filed the instant application for the following reliefs:- "i. Directing the respondent University to consider the claim of the petitioner for refixation of pension in the Professor's Scale in the revised pay scale w.e.f 1.1.1996 and 01.01.2006 respectively and pay the arrears and current pension accordingly with interest.

ii. Further directing the respondent University to pay the difference of pension and relief from 1.6.1999 to 31.03.2007 in the old pay scale with 50% merger relief in basic pension w.e.f 1.1.2007. iii. For further directing the respondent University to grant difference of pension and relief from 1.04.2007 to February, 2014 in the Reader's pay grade and also grant leave Encashment of 90 days

iv. Directing the respondent University to pay the arrears of difference of Pay and D.A from July 1982 to May 1999.

v. For grant of any other relief or reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled under Law as well as facts and circumstances of the case."

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that as a result of the decision taken by the Pay Fixation Committee in its last meeting held, orders have been passed with respect to the petitioner and he no longer wishes to press the instant application.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to pursue this case before the respondent authorities for his remaining grievances, if any.

4. The writ application stands disposed of as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
