Petitioners are in custody in connection with S.T Excise Case No. 922 of 2017 arising out of Birpur P.S. Case No. 292 of 2017 for offence under Sections 30(a), 41(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent, they have been arrested in connection with recovery of 21 litre liquor. He further submits that they were not apprehended along with the liquor and they are in custody since 23.03.2018 Considering the totality of the fact and situation, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing
