The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sessions Trial No. 360 of 2021 arising out of Danapur P.S. Case No. 306 of 2020 under sections 302, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant has alleged in the FIR that it was the petitioner herein who shot at on the head of his brother which led to his killing.

Taking into account that the there is specific allegation against the petitioner in the FIR, this Court, for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16919 of 2022(2) dt.15-07-2022 2/2 present, is not inclined to grant him the privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 29.5.2020 (as stated in para-8 of the bail application) i.e. more than two years, the trial court is directed to take steps and conclude the trial on day-to-day basis without any unnecessary adjournment.
