.... .... Respondent/s =========================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Dhananjay Kumar Tiwary For the Respondent/s : Mr. SC30- Avinash Kumar =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 18-01-2016 Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Petitioner filed the writ application for a direction upon the respondent-authorities to go by the merit-list for admission in PreDiploma in Elementary Education Course, conducted by the District Education and Training Institution, Sonepur at Saran. Matter related to session 2012-2014.

At the very outset a detailed counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent, especially the Principal of the institution, denying any wrong doing, which has been alleged in the writ application with regard to the admission so granted. The assertion in the counter affidavit prima facie tries to demonstrate that the admission has been given strictly in accordance with reservation

Patna High Court CWJC No.13659 of 2014 dt.18-01-2016 2/2 quota, available to the beneficiaries. It is also asserted that certain misleading statements have been made by the petitioner deliberately to make out a case.

Whatever be the position, the fact stands that the admission relates to the session 2012-2014. The session is long over. The students have already completed their course of studies and training. No useful purpose will be served now by racking up the issue, which will remain academic now.

Writ application stands dismissed even otherwise. (Ajay Kumar Tripathi, J) SKM/- U
