Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302,307,385 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. From the report of the learned Trial Judge dated 09.04.2021 it appears that the trial is at the closure of prosecution evidence as part examination of the Investigating Officer, the last witness has already completed. Allegation is that the petitioner is main assailant by causing firearm injury. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent, however, he is in custody since 01.08.2018.

Considering the material against the petitioner and chances of conclusion of the trial in near future, I am not

Learned Trial Judge is directed to expedite and conclude the trial at the earliest considering the period of detention of the petitioner.
