The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 414, 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that as per allegation, 175.05 litres of Nepali Soufi wine were allegedly recovered from three motorcycles which was being boarded by two persons on each motorcycle including the petitioner who was caught on chase by the police when they tried to escape and the rest persons managed to escape. Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-VII-cum-Special Judge, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Adapur P.S. Case No. 157 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
