JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-10-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That the petitioner above-named craves for indulgence of this Hon'ble Court by way of issuance of any appropriate order/orders, direction / directions writ / writs commanding and directing the Respondents concerned to pay the widow petitioner due amount of salary of her deceased husband for the period between 01.05.1999 to

Patna High Court CWJC No.7697 of 2016(2) dt.13-10-2023 2/3 28.02.2002, as the husband of the petitioner, who has been posted as constable/545 under the services of the Respondent Department at Special Branch, Saharsa, stood transferred vide an office order dated 01.05.99 but has never been relieved and subsequently the said transfer even stood cancelled and again he has been transferred to Special Branch, Patna where he joined on the vacant post of Havaldar on 29.07.2002, but despite the husband of the petitioner discharging his duties at Saharsa between 01.05.99 to 28.07.2002, he has not been paid his salary and in a very arbitrary and inhuman manner after the unfortunate death of the employee on 18.06.2005, the Respondent concerned vide office order No.

1411/2007 has adjusted the period as leave and allowed payment of only 260 days, which is very much illegal and unjustified. And/or any other relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the facts and circumstances of this

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, in case of any subsisting grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
