The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 152 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 354.24 liters of illicit liquor from Maize field.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said Maize field from where recovery has been made, does not belong to the petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 02.05.2018.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32426 of 2018 (3) dt.28-05-2018 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Court, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 152 of 2018.
