This case is taken up through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in Sadar (Mabbi O.P.) P.S. Case No.64 of 2020, corresponding to G.O. Case No.177 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It appears that the police after getting secret information apprehended the petitioner and recovered 17.3 litres of liquor and other articles for which the petitioner is in jail since 10.02.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than three months for recovery of 17.3 litres of liquor.
