The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Pakaridayal P.S. Case No. 93 of 2015 for offences under Sections 387 and 120(B) IPC.

It is alleged that petitioner has obstructed the construction work of the informant, threatened of dire consequences and demanded extortion money.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that the mobile allegedly used for demand does not belong to the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14355 of 2020(2) dt.06-07-2020 2/2 the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 1,00,000/- (One Lac) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM-V, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Pakaridayal P.S. Case No. 93 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P. C.

Bailors should be local residents.
