The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No.221 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 420, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that the petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons took Rs.14,50,000/- from the informant and promised to return the money within one year. It is alleged that when the informant demanded his money, the accused persons returned only Rs.2,00,000/-. When the informant went to the house of co-accused, Rakesh Kumar Singh for demanding money, the nephew and elder brother of

The petitioner had earlier moved before this Court for grant of anticipatory bail. This Court vide order dated 30.01.2023, passed in Cr. Misc. No.45255 of 2022, rejected the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground of suppression of his criminal antecedent. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid and the fact that no new ground is made out to consider the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is again rejected.
