The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No.187 of 2014 for allegedly having committed the offences under Sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been made an accused only because the informant and her family members began to put pressure on him so as to induce him into marriage. However, learned counsel for the State after perusal of the case diary has pointed out several paragraphs, which go to indicate that the petitioner was having physical relationship with the informant for a long period and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7744 of 2015 (3) dt.20-05-2015 2/2 the case has been found to be true.
Considering the materials available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
The criminal miscellaneous application is, accordingly, dismissed.
