The petitioners seek bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 6 of 2017 dated 23.03.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 20/22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Both the petitioners are said to have been found in possession of 5 Kg of Ganja each. The petitioners have remained in custody since 24.03.2017.

Taking into account the quantity of narcotics recovered from the petitioners and the period of custody, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. The petitioners, above named are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52847 of 2017 (3) dt.24-11-2017 2/2 thousand) each with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge, 1st, Begusaraicum-Special Judge, NDPS Act, Begusarai in connection with NDPS Case No. 6 of 2017, arising out of Rail Barauni P.S. Case No. 38 of 2017.
