The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is stated to have assaulted the son of the informant with a butt of pistol leading to grievous injury besides assaulting the informant as also his wife.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The informant happens to be the son-in-law of the brother of the petitioner. The son-in-law lives in his sasural and it is over a trivial dispute relating to property that a minor occurrence took place. There is delay of two days in lodging of the F.I.R. The

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for 11 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Lakhisarai (Amhara) P.S. Case no.57 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai, DistrictLakhisarai.
