JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 09-04-2015 Despite repeated calls nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner to press this writ application. Same is the case with the respondents.

The writ application has been filed for a direction commanding upon the respondents not to hold cattle fair (Pashu Mela) and appoint collection agent for collecting the market fee by auction on the land of the petitioner which is said to be raiyati land. A claim in this regard was filed before the LRDC, Jehanabad which appears to have been rejected by a reasoned order. On going through the contents of the writ petition, it appears to this Court that the writ petition itself has become infructuous. It is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous.
