JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-09-2020 This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. bearing Athamalgola P. S. Case No. 150 of 2014 dated 19.04.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 25 (1-B)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Mr. Amitesh Kumar, learned APP for the State has pointed out that this is a case of the year 2014 and the investigation in this case must have been completed by now. There is no material on record to indicate that the investigation has continued up till now. In all its probability, the investigation would have been completed by now. If at all the investigation is pending, the Investigating Officer is directed to conclude the investigation,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22361 of 2016(2) dt.11-09-2020 2/2 preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The aforesaid direction shall be implemented only if the case has remained pending at the stage of investigation. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
