The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sheikhpura ( Mahila) P.S.Case No. 11 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376 (D)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/8 of POCSO Act.
As per prosecution case, it is alleged that all the accused persons including this petitioner forcefully lifted the informant and brought her near the mustard field and firstly beaten and then committed rape upon her one by one. It is also alleged that two unknown persons shoot a video of whole incident. Considering the nature of accusation coupled with the

No.26779 of 2021(6) dt.04-07-2022 2/2 injury report as well as the statement of victim recorded under section 164 of the Cr.P.C and finally her deposition made before the learned trial court, this court is not persuaded to enlarge the petitioner on bail and as such the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner stands rejected.
On the other hand, learned counsel for the informant also submits that the trial is also at the fagend. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the learned trial court is directed to take all necessary steps and ensure the completion of the trial as early as possible. (Harish Kumar, J) N.K/- U T
