Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 22.02.2017 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 7830 of 2017 on merit.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody since long. Three witnesses have been examined and the case is pending for further examination and there is no likelihood of completion of trial.
Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, considering the fact that he is in custody since long, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude it within a period of seven months.
