The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Salimpur PS case no. 55 of 2018 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 457, 380 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation in the present case is regarding unknown persons having committed robbery in the house of the informant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a non-FIR named accused person, no recovery has been made from his house and his name has come during the course of his confessional statement made in another case. The petitioner is stated to be having a fair antecedent except one case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33942 of 2018 (3) dt.23-07-2018 2/2 in which he is on bail. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 04.04.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and appropriate to direct for release of the petitioner on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri A.K. Thakur, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Barh, Patna in connection with Salimpur PS case no. 55 of 2018 and upon furnishing cash security of Rs. 10,000/- in the concerned court.
