JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 20-05-2015 Learned counsel is permitted to correct the date of the order as well as the number of the case as occurring in the prayer portion of the application.

This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for modification of the order dated 11.02.2015 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 35997 of 2014 whereby the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of the order.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is an old aged person suffering from ailments and thus he could not carry out the order during the time frame and hence this application.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20887 of 2015 (2) dt.20-05-2015 considering the request made in this application, the order dated 11.2.2015 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 35997 of 2014 is modified to the extent that the period of surrender granted thereunder is extended by further four weeks from today. The order stands modified to the aforementioned extent. This application is allowed.
