The petitioner, who is in custody since 09-05-2017 in Bochahan P.S. Case No. 36 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 272, 273 & 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(A) & 35(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that since petitioner was apprehended in one case relating to Excise Act, repeatedly in number of cases, he has been remanded and he is in custody in this case since 09-05-2017. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the petitioner namely Sudhir Mandal be enlarged on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42280 of 2017(2) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Bochahan P.S. Case No. 36 of 2017.
