ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 18-08-2023 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has stated that even though the petitioners have filed the present writ petition for payment of admitted amount of Rs. 7,66,064/-.

Patna High Court CWJC No.23956 of 2013(4) dt.18-08-2023 2/2 The authorities relying on the affidavit filed by the petitioners have paid an amount of only Rs. 5,94,608/-.

2. Even though the dues payable to the petitioner was of the year 2012, the amounts were paid after much delay i.e. almost after a gap of eleven years i.e. in the year, 2023.

3. Learned counsel has stated that having regard to the affidavit filed by the petitioners, the writ petition may be closed with the leave to the petitioners to approach the other authority or any other forum for payment of the interest on the delayed payment.

4. Having regard to the above made submission, the writ petition stands withdrawn with the liberty to the petitioners to seek the remedies as available to them under law for payment of interest on the delayed payments.
