The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleges that the petitioner got appointed as Sevika based on forged certificate.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a woman and is a person with clean antecedent. It is next submitted that from perusal of the allegations as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that the FIR does not even remotely disclose that which certificate of the petitioner was found forged. It is further submitted that the petitioner has already resigned from the job on 03.06.2022 owing to her health

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16981 of 2023(2) dt.25-05-2023 2/2 condition and prior to that, no FIR was instituted, it is next submitted that had an opportunity been given to the petitioner to explain her case, perhaps the present FIR would not have been registered.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 551 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
