2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 02.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 78349 of 2023.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail on 02.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 78349 of 2023 with a direction to surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge (II)-cum-Additional District and Sessions Judge, Hajipur, Vaishali in connection with

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23874 of 2024(2) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 Excise, Hajipur (Vaishali) P.S. Case No. 520 of 2023, but due to illness, the petitioner could not surrender before the Court below within the stipulated time.

4. In view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 02.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 78349 of 2023, be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

5. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 02.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 78349 of 2023 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) guddukr/- U T
