The petitioner seeks bail in Mahua P.S. Case No. 626 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 413, 414, 420, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-b) a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, it is alleged that a loaded country made pistol alongwith a live cartridge of 0.315 bore was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 12.10.2021 and investigation is complete.

Learned APP vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

No.17613 of 2022(2) dt.25-05-2022 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and period of custody undergone by the petitioner, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 626 of 2021.
