The petitioner is in custody in connection with Nadi P.S. Case No. 21 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 384, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he demanded Rs.1,000/- from the informant in his shop.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 21.01.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each
