Petitioner, already in custody since 14.05.2018, seeks bail in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No.255 of 2016 registered under Sections 420, 465, 466, 468, 406, 409, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that the petitioner got rent receipt issued in the name of his wife and also in the mutation order, the name of the wife of the petitioner was wrongly incorporated by tampering the original document. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the full brother of the informant and with respect to the land in question, the petitioner's wife has filed a title suit in which the informant is also one of the defendants. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38601 of 2018(2) dt.04-07-2018 2/2 submitted that Vinod Kumar, one of the co-accused, was granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 03.05.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.20652 of 2018. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Ram Naresh Rai is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No.255 of 2016.
