2. In compliance with the order of this Court, a show-cause affidavit has been filed on behalf of opposite party no.6.

3. It is categorically averred that in compliance with the order of this Court the Circle Officer, Lakhnaur considered the explanation/petition filed by the petitioner in the

Patna High Court MJC No.898 of 2025 dt.29-08-2025 2/2 light of report of Halka Karamchari, as also perused the revenue record and finally passed the order dated 22.07.2025 rejecting the contention raised by the petitioner. It is further informed that the land situated at Mouza Behat, Khata no. 506, Khesara no. 1826, area 2-16 -12-0 formally belonged to Ex-land Lord Raj Darbhanga and after abolition of Jamindari and enactment of Bihar Land Record for Act, the aforesaid land vested in the State of Bihar. In the aforesaid premise, it is said that no private person can transfer the land, in question, in any manner, therefore, all transactions made between the parties with respect to said land is not valid.

4. Having considered the submissions and the averments made in the show-cause affidavit, the present contempt petition stands closed.
