The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 590 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 347,148, 149, 387, 302, 504, 506 of the IPC and Section 27 Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that it is double murder case where two persons were killed in broad day light.

Considering the materials available on the record and gravity of offence, the Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer is accordingly

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17665 of 2020(3) dt.30-09-2020 2/2 rejected.

However, liberty shall be available to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below and pray for regular bail. In the event the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail the Court below shall consider and pass appropriate order on the same day without being prejudiced by the refusal of anticipatory bail by this Court.
